Voxweb, an Android / iOS app can help you send talking pictures to your friends, family and loved ones. Taking a lead over usual selfie and pic with caption, VoxWeb allows users to add up to 11-second voice to any picture that they take using the app. The pictures with audio are distinctly marked with an orange line beneath them. A user can listen the voice of the picture by simply touching it.

Ever since VoxWeb has come into the arena, people are looking for pictures with the orange line to hear the underlying message in the image. From Bahamas to Brisbane, users around the globe are sharing pictures using this new innovative method. Behind the fun of speaking pictures the fundamental idea of this app is that it fixes the problem that typical flat text captions were marred of, they are – in-cohesiveness, and erroneous interpretation. Let’s face it, how many times did an image and the underlying caption made no sense? Well, honestly – most of the times. Bridging that shortcoming and providing an intimate peek into the picture taker’s thought is the USP of VoxWeb.
“Attaching a voice clip to the picture captures atmosphere, emotions, and sentiments that are intrinsic to quality image sharing experience”, said Yash Mishra, founder of VoxWeb. He added “with images that support audio clips, we are looking at a paradigm shift in the process of taking snaps and sharing it across various platforms. The product was developed over a period of 8 months”.

VoxWeb currently allows users to send the audio images to contacts, and let them post publicly at VoxWeb’s social platform called “life”. But as and how the “orange line” craze picks up amongst users across the globe, it might lead way for what is being dubbed as “image revolution” on the internet, setting up new benchmarks in terms of how moments are captured and images are shared.
VoxWeb is slightly different from Apple’s – Live Photos. Though you can make Live Photos only with an iPhone, VoxWeb is present on both Android and iOS. It remains to be seen whether “Live photos” or “Speaking orange line pics” is the future of a photograph, but VoxWeb remains the only solution for Android users who want to create exotic photos.
